A student who became a researcher and never stopped being a developer.
I was born and raised in Itajubá, in southern Minas Gerais. I went to UNIFEI to study Information Systems, left with a master's degree awarded Best Dissertation at the Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems, and I am now in the PhD programme at UNICAMP. I never stopped writing code along the way.
As a developer I work with React Native and Expo on mobile, React and Angular on the web, Node.js and NestJS on the server, Docker and AWS on infrastructure. I like picking the tool for the problem, writing code other people can read, and shipping things that keep working after I walk away.
As a researcher I study collaborative systems, digital democracy and participatory urban planning: technology that lets people take part in decisions about their own city. Same question as in my day job, asked one layer deeper.

Adopted while I was still living at República Pimenta Doida, a student house in Itajubá. She likes height, investigates everything that comes near, and keeps a merciless internal clock: she wakes me up every day, hours before the daily standup.
